The spring tree pollen season is in full swing. And while we’re enjoying the beautiful green leaves and blossoms, for those of us who suffer from asthma, the extra pollen in the air creates a real risk. If your child has asthma, be sure to complete a medical administration form and give it to your school’s nurse along with your child’s medication, so that the school can help your child in the event of an attack.
For more information about asthma, go to the New York State Department of Health website: Pollen reports are available here. If you have questions about your child’s condition, contact your CHCR provider.
